Fake jeweller arrested in Mumbai for cheating temple devotees

Andheri Police in Mumbai arrested an alleged serial cheat who targeted elderly devotees outside temples and mosques by posing as a jeweller seeking donations. The accused allegedly tricked victims into handing over gold chains before fleeing. Police nabbed him from Kalyan and solved 30 fraud cases across Mumbai and suburbs, recovering stolen jewellery during the probe.
