US President Donald Trump dismissed reports of food shortages and worsening living conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as "fake news". He said he received third-hand information from a retired admiral, who allegedly told him the aircraft carrier was being "beautifully maintained and beautifully taken care of". The aircraft carrier has spent 266 days on its current deployment.
