Fake SBI branch comes up in Chhattisgarh, people cheated of lakhs

Fraudsters opened a fake SBI branch at a space rented for ₹7,000/month in Chhattisgarh's Chhapora village to defraud job seekers and locals. Six individuals were recruited for what they believed were legitimate jobs at SBI and they were charged ₹2 lakh-₹6 lakh to secure their positions. The elaborate scam included fake training sessions, fake appointment letters and acceptance of deposits.
