Amazon has denied that it's planning to cut 14,000 jobs globally by May 2026. "These reports are false and not based in fact," a spokesperson told India Today. Had they been true, this would have been the third major layoff round at Amazon in under a year after the company fired 16,000 workers in January and 14,000 in late 2025.
