False: K'taka CM on claims that his govt favours Urdu over Kannada

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah accused BJP of spreading a false narrative that his government is giving more funds for Urdu language and neglecting Kannada. "It's a deliberate attempt to create communal tension," he added. He said Karnataka government allocated over ₹30,000 crores to Primary and Secondary Education and ₹4,150 crores to Social Welfare and all this was meant for Kannada-medium education.
