Family dog honoured for saving owner's child from bear attack in US

A family dog in Connecticut, US, has been honoured with a legislative citation after saving its owner's son from a charging black bear. Bella the Husky sprang into action on July 4 when the bear suddenly appeared and ran towards Jeffrey Tazzara's son, who was standing in the driveway outside, prompting the dog to protect the child.
