Family in Kerala finds nearly 3m-long crocodile sitting in their verandah

A family residing near Kerala's Chalakudy river found a full-grown crocodile lounging in the verandah of their home on Wednesday. "It was about three metres in length. It may have accidentally wandered into the home as it's located near the river," T Ajikumar, Range Forest Officer said. It took forest officials and locals over two hours to secure the crocodile.
