Family of 9 whose car fell into well in Nashik had taken a shortcut

The family of nine who died after their car fell into a well in Maharashtra's Nashik had chosen a shortcut instead of the main road. This proved to be fatal. They were returning late at night from an event about 10 km from their village when their car hit the wall of an unprotected roadside well and plunged into it.
