Family of BSF jawan killed in action to get ₹50 lakh ex-gratia

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar condoled the death of BSF jawan Ram Babu Singh who passed away days after sustaining injuries in the cross-border firing by Pakistan. The CM announced an ex-gratia of ₹50 lakh to the BSF jawan's next of kin. Singh's last rites will be performed at his ancestral village in Bihar's Siwan district with full state honours.
