Family Physicians body includes family medicine in MBBS curriculum

The National President of the Academy of Family Physicians of India, Dr Raman Kumar, has asked the National Medical Commission to integrate family medicine into India’s medical education curriculum. He argues family doctors work in private practices or health centres, serving as the first point of contact for patients, and family medicine plays a pivotal role in the healthcare ecosystem.
