Family’s farming success story spans 2 decades and 3 generations

Brothers Amarjit Singh and Karamjit Singh of Chahrke village in Jalandhar have practised organic farming on 17 acres for nearly two decades, growing sugarcane, turmeric, pulses and traditional jaggery. The shift began after their father, Avtar Singh, abandoned chemical farming following a family tragedy. Today, their products are sold across Punjab, Haryana and overseas.
