Family spares snake that bit their son, releases it into the wild

A family from Karnataka chose mercy over vengeance—even after a tragic loss. On May 31, 10-year-old Amit Gurulinga Sindhur was bitten by a snake while he was asleep at his residence in Kakamari village, located in Karnataka’s Belagavi district. Despite being rushed to a hospital for treatment, the young boy tragically passed away.
