Fannie Mae lays off 200 Telugu employees in US, 700 in total

US-based Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association) laid off 700 employees in total, 200 out of them are Telugu workers. The Fannie Mae layoffs were implemented by the financial institution based on the ethical violations related to misusing the "matching grants programme". The job cuts took place on Thursday.
