Farah Khan reveals industry doubted Shreya Ghoshal for 'Main Hoon Na'

Filmmaker Farah Khan revealed that several Bollywood insiders warned her against casting then-newcomer Shreya Ghoshal in Main Hoon Na (2004), calling it a mistake. Speaking during a visit to Shreya's Mumbai home, Farah said she and composer Anu Malik stood firm, believing in Shreya's fresh voice. Shreya sang two tracks for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film.
