Farm leader Dallewal has ended indefinite fast: Punjab govt to SC

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has ended his indefinite fast by accepting water on Friday morning, the Punjab government told the Supreme Court. This comes after the police opened blocked roads by removing protesting farmers at the Khanauri and Shambhu borders between Punjab and Haryana earlier this month. Dallewal was seeking legal guarantee for the MSP among other demands.
