Farmer attempts suicide at Shambhu border, dies in hospital

A 55-year-old farmer protesting at the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana allegedly attempted suicide on Thursday and died in a hospital in Patiala, PTI reported. It is the second such incident at the protest site within three weeks. The farmers have been protesting, demanding a legal guarantee for Minimum support price (MSP) for crops.
