Farmer Goes From Earning Rs 4000 to Rs 2 Lakh Growing Strawberries

Ramesh Bhiva Bangar, a tribal farmer in Maharashtra's water-scarce Kopre village, transitioned from traditional crops to strawberries, despite never having tasted them. Initially doubted by locals, his approach yielded impressive results, with earnings skyrocketing from Rs 4,000 to Rs 2 lakh per season. He harvested his first fruits after 45 days of sowing seeds and using natural fertilisers.
