Farmer threatens suicide, told to pay ₹9.9 lakh by police for security in Rajasthan

A farmer was asked to pay ₹9.9 lakh by the police for security deployed to prevent him from committing suicide after the former threatened to do so over non-payment of land compensation in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu. As per the notice, 99 police personnel had been deployed. The farmer claimed he's being charged even though he didn't ask for the security.
