Farmers in Bengaluru protest land acquisition for Foxconn plant

Farmers in Bengaluru's Devanahalli staged a protest on Friday while fencing was being laid for Foxconn's plant. "We've not received a single paisa from Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) or Foxconn so far, but they're acquiring our land forcefully," a farmer told Moneycontrol. KIADB officials said delay in compensation distribution is due to family land disputes of land owners.
