Farmers protest against weekend lockdown imposed in Punjab

Farmers took out protest marches at several places in Punjab on Saturday against the weekend lockdown imposed by the state government to control the rising COVID-19 cases. "Lockdown is not a solution to deal with the COVID-19 crisis," said a member of Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan). Punjab has imposed a weekend lockdown along with night curfew till May 15.
