Farmers, students protest in B'luru against land acquisition in Devanahalli

The All India Students' Association (AISA) and Fridays For Future (FFF) protested in Bengaluru against the government's plan of acquiring 1,777 acres of fertile agricultural land in Devanahalli. According to reports, about 387 families will be rendered landless if the plan goes ahead. "Industries can be set up on barren land, why is...government after fertile lands?" a student activist said.
