Fashion designer Wendell Rodricks passed away at his home in Goa aged 59, a member of the family has confirmed to Indian Express. In 2014, the Government of India conferred upon him its fourth-highest civilian award, the Padma Shri. An activist for social causes, environment, and gay rights, Rodricks married Jerome Marrel in a civil ceremony in Paris in 2002.
