FASTag users can now switch banks without changing tags

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has launched OneTag, allowing FASTag users to switch their issuer bank without replacing the physical sticker. The same Tag ID and vehicle registration number remain intact, while the portability process is handled through the Rajmargyatra app. The initiative is expected to give motorists greater choice and reduce the need for repeated FASTag replacement.
