Fatal for democracy: Akhilesh on report of internal rift within EC

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that it was extremely fatal and dangerous for democracy if Election Commissioners are not able to perform their duty. This comes after a report claimed that two Election Commissioners raised 14 objections in 10 months over the SIR process. "This is nothing less than a conspiracy to wipe out democracy," he further added.
