FB, Instagram to restrict cosmetic surgery, diet product posts

Facebook-owned Instagram has announced that the two platforms have started restricting some cosmetic surgery and diet product posts from September 18. The new rules will result in age restrictions being applied to some posts and other posts being removed entirely. "This policy is part of our ongoing work to reduce the pressure that people can sometimes feel," Instagram said.
