FB invites Google, Twitter to discuss US election meddling

Facebook has invited representatives from technology giants like Google, Microsoft and Twitter among others to discuss plans to counter misinformation during US midterm elections. This comes as Facebook was recently involved in a data scandal where Cambridge Analytica exploited data of over 50 million users to influence the US elections. The meeting will take place on Friday at Twitter's headquarters.
