FBI probe finds several Steam games embedded with hidden malware

An investigation by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has identified several video games on the Steam platform that were embedded with hidden malware. These include BlockBlasters, Chemia, Dashverse/DashFPS, Lampy, Lunara, PirateFi and Tokenova. The FBI's Seattle Division is seeking to identify potential victims who were primarily targeted between May 2024 and January 2026.
