FDA cancels licence of Pharma giant Cipla's unit in Pune

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cancelled the drug sale licences of Cipla Pharma & Life Sciences' Carry & Forwarding facility in Pune's Wadki following an inspection. FDA found serious irregularities related to the packaging, storage, record-keeping and recall of Reactin Plus Tablets. FDA found medicines stored directly on the floor, and inadequate pallet and rack arrangements.
