FDA chief Marty Makary resigns after clashes with Trump allies

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) chief Marty Makary has resigned after weeks of clashing with health industry executives, and other allies of President Donald Trump. "Marty ‌is a terrific guy, but he's going to go on...He was having some difficulty," Trump said. "The assistant, Kyle Diamantas, is taking over temporarily until we find someone," Trump added.
