FDA suspends food licences of Cricket Club of India, 4 other elite clubs in Mumbai

Maharashtra FDA suspended food business licences of catering units at five of Mumbai's most elite clubs after inspections found serious food safety and hygiene violations. These include Cricket Club of India (CCI), RK Juhu Gymkhana, Aparna Juhu Gymkhana, MIG Cricket Club and Willingdon Sports Club. Cockroaches, flies, mouldy vegetables and expired food items were found at the 93-year-old CCI.
