FDA suspends licence of Pune's Karachi Sweet Mart over food safety violations

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspended the licence of Pune's Karachi Sweet Mart at Bhimpura Lane in Camp over the alleged use of expired ingredients, as well as violations regarding the handling of khoa. The licences of Ganesh Ladwale (Shikrapur), Rajmilan Sweets (Manchar), Puneri Sweets (Kalewadi), Pournima Sweets (Wanawadi) and Bikaner Mithaiwale (Mohammadwadi) were also suspended.
