FDs may soon appear alongside demat investments in one statement

The RBI has proposed measures to let customers view and share more financial information in one place. Fixed deposit (FD) details could be added to Consolidated Account Statement (CAS), giving demat account holders a combined view of investments and FDs. People without demat accounts could also access financial information through Account Aggregators. It may be implemented by December 31, 2026.
