Fee paid to Pak cricketers contributes to Indian deaths: Gavaskar on SunRisers Leeds buying Abrar

Ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar criticised Indian-owned SunRisers Leeds for signing Abrar Ahmed in The Hundred auction. Gavaskar said fees paid to Pakistani players eventually go as taxes to their government, which buys arms & weapons, indirectly contributing to deaths of Indian soldiers and civilians. Gavaskar said the franchise's insensitivity to the situation was the most shocking part for him.
