Female CISF Sub-Inspector climbs Europe's highest peak, 1st CAPF personnel to do so

CISF Sub-Inspector Geeta Samota became the first Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel to scale Europe's highest peak Mount Elbrus in Russia, CISF said on Saturday. "Conquered Mount Elbrus, 5,642 metres/18,510 feet, the highest peak of Russia and of European continent. Proud Indian and CISF girl," said 31-year-old Samota after the feat. She's posted in Mumbai airport's CISF Unit.
