Marium Mukhtiar was declared a martyr by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Tuesday after she died while operating an F7 fighter jet during a training exercise. Notably, Mukhtiar was Pakistan's first female pilot to die on duty. A spokesperson said she may have died as the jet may not have been at the appropriate height for her to eject.
