Fendi's ₹8-lakh 'Navratri-style' bag draws criticism

Fendi has launched a handbag embroidered with 39,500 beads and 475 mirrors, priced at more than ₹8 lakh. The product has drawn criticism, with many claiming that its design resembles India's traditional mirror work. Calling it a "Navratri" bag, businessman Harsh Goenka said the design 'looks exactly like a ₹500 bag available on the streets of Gujarat".
