Ferrari saved from deepfake scam as executive asks a question to fraudster

A Ferrari executive recently dodged a deepfake scam after getting a call from fraudster impersonating CEO Benedetto Vigna. He grew suspicious as it wasn't Vigna's usual phone number and his voice sounded mechanical. The executive said, "I need to identify you," and asked him to name the book Vigna recently recommended to him, following which the fraudster disconnected the call.
