Festivities planned to mark UK Queen's 70 years of rule this year

A military parade, neighbourhood parties and a pudding competition are among the programmes planned to commemorate UK Queen Elizabeth II's 70 years of rule this year, Buckingham Palace has said. The Queen's 'Platinum Jubilee' celebrations will be held from June 2 to June 5. Queen Elizabeth II will become the first British monarch to reign over seven decades.
