Few wearable fitness trackers may interfere with pacemakers: Study

A research published in 'Heart Rhythm' has warned that some fitness trackers may potentially interfere with functioning of pacemakers and other implanted heart electronic devices. Trackers may result in pacing interruptions or unnecessary shocks to the heart, study said. Researchers had passed electric currents through the body, similar to what trackers use to determine users' body composition.
