FIFA accuses UEFA of 'smear campaign' in row over Infantino's plan

In a court filing on Thursday, FIFA accused European football governing body UEFA of a "smear campaign" over FIFA President Gianni Infantino's now-abandoned World Cup stake sale plan. This comes after UEFA filed requests for discovery of evidence connected to Infantino's proposal in three US courts. UEFA said it was considering criminal proceedings against Infantino and other FIFA officials.
