FIFA bans England's Quansah for 2 matches after red card against Mexico in World Cup

England defender Jarell Quansah has been suspended for two matches after receiving red card in his side's World Cup 2026 Round of 16 win over Mexico. Quansah will miss the upcoming quarter-final against Norway and then a potential semifinal. He was sent off after VAR review following a challenge which saw his studs go into shin of Mexico's Jesus Gallardo.
