FIFA cancels 2,000 hotel rooms in US' Philadelphia ahead of WC

FIFA has cancelled reservations for approximately 2,000 of the 10,000 hotel rooms originally booked for this year's World Cup in US' Philadelphia, according to the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association. However, reports said the move is a standard practice, carried out after gaining clarity on requirements as the tournament nears. The tournament will take place in the US, Canada and Mexico.
