FIFA deploys robot dogs at World Cup venues for patrolling

Robotic dogs made by Boston Dynamics are being deployed during the FIFA World Cup 2026 for patrolling. These robot dogs can navigate busy, complex spaces, carry out real-time inspections, and help monitor crowded areas. The robots will be deployed at the International Broadcast Center in Dallas and at stadiums in New York and New Jersey.
