FIFA issues statement after row over ball 'hitting' Spidercam wire before England's goal

FIFA shared a video and issued a statement after Norway claimed the ball struck a Spidercam wire before Jude Bellingham's equaliser for England in their World Cup quarter-final. FIFA said the Connected Ball sensor showed no peak in the ball's "heartbeat" while it was airborne and, therefore, there is no evidence that it touched overhead wire or changed direction.
