FIFA to amend its disciplinary rules after Folarin Balogun case

FIFA will amend its disciplinary regulations after controversy over its decision to suspend USA forward Folarin Balogun's one-match World Cup ban, the Belgian Football Association (RBFA) said. The decision allowed Balogun to play against Belgium despite receiving a red card. FIFA will revise Article 27 of its Disciplinary Code, which allows sanctions to be suspended in exceptional circumstances.
