FIFA World Cup 2026 has become the most-attended edition in the tournament's history, with FIFA announcing an attendance of 3,605,357. FIFA also said the 2026 edition has recorded 173 goals, more than any previous edition of the tournament. FIFA World Cup 2026, which is being held in the US, Canada and Mexico, is the first 48-team edition.
