The FIFA World Cup recorded its highest-ever single-day attendance on Tuesday, with 2,81,223 fans taking their places in the stands across four group-stage matches, FIFA announced on Wednesday. The matches included France-Senegal, Iraq-Norway, Argentina-Algeria and Austria-Jordan. The total attendance at the FIFA World Cup 2026, being held across the US, Mexico and Canada, now stands at 13,09,652.
