FIIs withdraw ₹5,300 crore in the first 2 trading sessions of 2026

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have withdrawn ₹5,349 crore from Indian stock markets in first two trading sessions of 2026, National Securities Depository Limited data showed. FIIs recorded a net outflow of ₹2,167 crore on January 1 and another ₹3,182 crore on January 2, with equity segment witnessing significant selling. This marks a continuation of a nine-week-long selling spree by FIIs.
