Film body asks Maharashtra FDA to raid Mumbai sets over unhygienic crew food

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) penned a letter to Maharashtra’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA), raising concerns over the quality of food for daily-wage workers on sets across Mumbai. The union said producers arrange "pathetic, unhygienic and substandard quality" of food, which "poses a serious risk to the health and safety of our members".
