Film producer Jaffer Sadiq & director Ameer raided by ED over ₹2,000 cr drugs case in Tamil Nadu

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday carried out raids in multiple cities of Tamil Nadu over the drugs trafficking-linked money laundering investigation. The premises of former DMK member and film producer Jaffer Sadiq and director Ameer were raided. Sadiq was arrested by NCB last month for alleged involvement in the smuggling of drugs worth over ₹2,000 crore.
